The Library, located in the Service Club, offers an excellent selection of both fiction and non-fiction. Seated at desk in far background is Miss Martha Lagrone of Memphis, Tennessee. Miss Lagrone is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Library School."

Further identifying information notes: "Seated at tables from left to right are: third one facing camera, Sgt. Louis Remly, Granger, Ind., formerly an assistant in Northwestern University Library; and fifth, Sgt. Albert Hagland, Havre, Montana."

Additional caption adds: "When these boys come home will they return to library service as good as that which they knew in the army?"
