Caption reads: "Encouraging a child's personal reading tastes and abilities is easier at the school which offers a centralized school library equipped with a wide variety of new materials and using new methods such as the one shown in the photo, the library of the Allisonville School, Indianapolis, Ind. Students here examine model of the human body, part of a kit for the science instruction. The library is being brought up to American Library Association standards with support from the Knapp School Libraries Project of ALA."
