George Wittenborn Memorial Book Award Committee File of chairs, Harlan Sifford (1980-81), Margaret Jensen (1982), Nancy Lambert (1983), Deirdre Lawrence (1984), Robert Kaufmann (1985), Sherman Clarke (1987), Joyce Ludmer (1988), Jeffrey Weidman (1990), James Findlay (1992-93), Deborah Kempe (1995-96), and Marilyn Berger (1997-98), contains award certificate samples, annual and midyear reports, correspondence, logo stationery, minutes, and press releases documenting the committee's governance, membership, and selection of award winners. The committee began as the Art Publishing Award Committee (1973-79) and changed its name to the George Wittenborn Book Award Committee and continued its work to recognize excellence in art publishing.
