Description: Scrapbook of Elizabeth H. Burnside, volunteer in the Library War Service, contains a report on a gift of books from Whittier, California, titled "Report of the Publicity Work, Processing and Disbursing the Whittier (Cal.) Gift Books of the A. L. A. Book Campaign, for Soldiers and Sailors, 18-25 March, 1918" and newspaper and publication clippings concerning the Whittier gift. Also contains letters gifting the materials from Burnside to the University of Illinois Library in 1920.
