Biographical Note for Margaret Alexander Edwards Trust : Margaret A. Edwards (1902-88) was a librarian and coordinator of Young Adult work at the Enoch Pratt Free Library. Per her will, her estate was used to form a trust to help fund the work of promotiong reading to teenagers and young adults. Established in 1989, the Trust conferred grants to libraries with outstanding programs for yound adults. In 2014, the Trustees transferred the fund to ALA/YALSA to manage.
