Papers of Allen K. Townsend (ARLIS/NA President 2003/04) contain correspondence and official documents of ARLIS/NA compiled during his presidential tenure and related to committee and liaison appointments; the planning of the 32nd ARLIS/NA Conference in New York City (2003-04), including a tribute to Florence DaLuiso-Zoll, one of the founders of ARLIS/NA; and public policy on the preservation of endangered Iraqi artifacts.

The Distinguished Service Award folder, 1988, 1993, 1997-98, and 2003-04, has been restricted until 2054 and has been marked "Restricted" on the folders and the finding aid.  Persons wishing to examine documents contained therein must have the written permission of the individuals to whom the material refers.  After the death of said persons, access is available subject to Archivist's review.

The Investments -- Schwab Statements folder, 2003-04, also contains material that has been determined to be of a confidential or sensitive nature and has been marked "Restricted" on the folders and the finding aid.  After 2054, access is available subject to Archivist's review.
