Subject File of Executive Directors Judith Hoffberg (1973-77), Pamela Parry (1980-93), Lori Bahrman (1993-94), and Penney De Pas (1994-98), contains agendas, brochures contracts, correspondence, flyers, guidelines, notes, reports, surveys, minutes, motions, and financial statements concerning the executive director's oversight of the governance and operation of ARLIS/NA executive board, constituent groups and chapters, including the incorporation of ARLIS/NA; strategic plans and goals; legal matters; corresponding with ARLIS/NA members and non-members; and publications of ARLIS/NA, including ARLIS/NA Newsletter, Art Documentation, and Occasional Papers.

Access Restrictions

Documents determined to be of a confidential or sensitive nature have been marked "Restricted" on the folder and the finding aid. Persons wishing to examine these documents must have the written permission of the person to whom the material refers. After the death of that person, access is available without restriction subject to the established user regulations of the ARLIS/NA Archives; after 20 years from the date of the most recent document in the folder, access is available subject to Archivist's review, with the exception of the Nominating Committee folder and the Recommendations folder; these are not available until 50 years from the date of the most recent document in the folder after Archivist's review.
