Brief Description: Subject file of the National Library Planning Committee created in 1934 to formulate and to subject to continuous study and revision a National Plan for Libraries, including a statement of goals or objectives, and to propose and promote steps that will lead to the attainment of these goal, including correspondence, memoranda, circular and articles concerning a National Plan for Libraries, state library planning and conference information. The committee was discontinued in 1939.
