Brief Description: Study of the Parent Education Programs of seven public libraries prepared by the Joint Committee on Parent Education of the National Council of Parent Education and the American Library Association chaired by Elizabeth M. Smith. The 1937 and 1939 studies planned to develop recommendations for public libraries for programs to assist parents with problems in family relations and child rearing. The series contains correspondence, programs, bibliographies and survey replies.
