Brief Description: The papers of Robert Doyle, ALA staff liaison on the International Relations Committee, contain correspondence, memoranda, reports and publications relating to the Romanian Relief Program (1990-91), The Romanian Institute (1991), The USIA-ALA Library/Book Fellows Program (1986-93), South Africa (1987-94) and The ALA Resolution on Israeli Censorship (1983-94). Includes papers from Doyle's work with the Freedom to Read Foundation, including planning materials and correspondence for Banned Books Week (1992-1996) and the FTRF 40th Anniversary Gala (2009).
