Description: June 5, 1972, report of the Executive Board Hearing Subcommittee in the matter of the dismissal of Peter M. Doiron, as Editor of CHOICE. The Hearing Subcommittee had been appointed by President Keith Doms pursuant to the action of the Executive Board at its April 27, 1972 meeting when it accepted the Report of the Staff Committee on Mediation, Arbitration and Inquiry (SCMAI) and its Fact Finding Subcommittee that the Executive Board grant Doiron a formal hearing by a team of Executive Board members with a complete report of findings and recommendations made to the full board for its decision and that the detailed chronology, transcriptions and other documentation assembled by the fact-finding inquiry be made available to the board for use in such a hearing. The file includes correspondence, statements, reports, three cassettes of hearing proceedings, transcripts of testimony with 38 attachments and 245 documents filed in connection with Doiron's request for action.
