Brief Description: Material related to the ALA exhibit, Library 21, at the Seattle World's Fair, Century 21, held April-October, 1962. The series includes the correspondence of Alphonso Trezza, Executive Secretary, concerning the construction (budget and design) of Library 21 and the cooperation between ALA and UNIVAC, Xerox and IBM in the development of the exhibit. Files include clippings for library journals, magazines and newspapers relating to ALA promotional activities concerning the exhibit and the fair. Representative exhibit materials include sample hand-out pamphlets and UNIVAC computer printouts, advisory committee correspondence, staff training material and photographs.
