Description: Project files of Rae Kipp, director of the ALA. - UNESCO Gift Coupon Project, relating to a cooperative contract between the International Relations Board and UNESCO to promote the project through libraries by distributing information and publicity to voluntary community organizations. Coupons purchased by organizations could be used by educational groups abroad to purchase educational materials. The file contains ALA's contract with UNESCO, budget, bills, correspondence, design for the project, summaries of project groups, UNESCO publications, lists of participating libraries, copies of mailings to participants, publicity materials and complete sets of exhibit materials, containing ALA. cover letters, brochures, ideas for displays, reprints of articles, samples of coupons and project summaries, photographs of educational groups in India receiving coupons and participating in programs, list of national organizations participating in the project and UNESCO publications, includes correspondence with Grace Stevenson, Douglas Bryant, Elizabeth Beeson and Janice Kee.
