Description: Scrapbooks including a file of correspondence containing information on publicity scrapbooks (1948-49) and a folder and two scrapbooks containing brochures and pamphlets which won Library Public Relations Council Awards (1962-64). This series also contains two scrapbooks of newspaper clippings concerning the Annual Conferences held in Detroit, 1970 and Dallas, 1971. Subjects of the clippings include campaigns to fight illiteracy and racial discrimination; and promotion of intellectual freedom and gay rights. The series also contains the scrapbook "Building the Market for Information," prepared for the 33rd Annual Silver Anvil Awards in 1977.
