Description: Published Annual Reports of the Library Technology Project including descriptions of the program, project descriptions of the program, project description and summaries, financial reports, lists of publications, staff members, and Advisory Committee members. The Library Technology Project (rename Program in 1966) was funded in 1959 by the Council on Library Resources as a 2-year project. In 1964, with partial funding by ALA, it became a permanent program to provide information of a technical nature to librarians, evaluate equipment and supplies and fund and promote research. In 1972, the program was dissolved on the recommendation of the Committee on Program Evaluation and Support (COPES).
