Description: Study of wartime school library activities and changes necessitated by decreased enrollment, interruptions in the school schedule and curriculum changes. The study was made by Helen L. Butler with a grant from the Carnegie Corporation to the ALA with the cooperation of the Division of Libraries for Children and Young People, School Library Section and the Headquarters School and Children's Library Division. File contains correspondence and published copies of the study's findings.
