Description: School group statistics of the Information and Advisory Services Department of ALA headquarters, concerns material used in the compilation of statistics on school groups, contains check lists, work sheets, compilations and tabulations (1939-40), correspondence, drafts of reports for publication, statistics (1935-37), salary information (1937-41), and school and academic libraries, includes elementary school libraries, secondary school libraries, college and normal school libraries, and university libraries. Activities were directed by William H. Clift, Statistical Assistant of the Department.
