Biographical Note for Library Organization and Management Section :

This section was organized and approved by the governing board in June, 1957 (1). This section exercises responsibility for matters pertaining to the furtherance of efficient library operation in all types of libraries. Illustrative of the fields of interest covered are the theory and practices of library administration; library management research, experimentation, and evaluation; compilation, coordination, and interpretation of library statistics; and work simplification studies (1).
