Publications of the SLA Science-Technology Division contains photocopies (1947-51) of Sci-Tech Divison News and bound volumes (1952-2007) of Sci-Tech News, includes official bulletin of the Chemistry, Engineering, Science-Technology Divisions, the Aerospace Section of the Engineering Division and the Materials Research and Manufacturing Section of the Chemistry Division of the Special Libraries Association.

The Science-Technology Community of SLA was formed  in 1923 under the name of the Technology Group. The first meeting was held during the 1924 annual conference. The Group was recognized officially in March 1925. Renamed Science-Technology Division in 1950, and Science-Technology Community in 2020. The objectives of the Science-Technology Community shall be to draw together members having an interest in the role of library and information science as applied to the recording, retrieval, and dissemination of information in all areas of science and technology and to promote and improve the communication, dissemination, and use of such information to the benefit of libraries and their users.
