Slide show of the ALA, 1876-1976: The First 100 Years, contains 189 slides, a film loop with the same slides (including manual viewer), a 16-page script produced by Doris Cruger Dale (Professor of Educational Media, Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Media) and Fred H. Jurgemeyer (Associate Professor of Library Media, School of Education, University of Colorado, Denver) in 1979, the script includes detailed descriptions of events depicted on slides or which were of historical importance to ALA.
