Biographical Note
Sarah Ann Long served as the American Library Association President from 1999-2000. She received her bachelor's degree in Education from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and a master's degree in librarianship from Emory University. Long has been the director of the North Suburban Library System in Wheeling, Illinois, since 1998.
