The file contains agendas and minutes of meetings of Coalition for Literacy committees; correspondence with member organizations; budgets; fundraising proposals; reports and brochures; bills, receipts and invoices; personnel applications and evaluations; correspondence with state and federal departments and governments; and press releases.
Member and associated organizations included Business Council for Effective Literacy, Advertising Council, American Association of Advertising Agencies, American Association for Adult Continuing Education, Association for Community Based Education, Illinois Literacy Council, Literacy Volunteers of America, National Association for Human Development, Volunteers Against Illiteracy, Push Literacy Now, Reading Is Fundamental, Contact Center Inc., the National Institutes of Education, the National Council, International Reading Association and Laubach Literacy International.
