Name: Price, Franklin H.
Historical Note: Franklin H. Price worked for the Philadelphia Free Library. He was an agent of the ALA Library War Service at the Philadelphia Dispatch Office. In 1918, he was appointed Supervisor of the Library War Service in the Naval and Marine Corps Stations in the vicinity of Philadelphia as part of the ALA Merchant Marine Service, which was discontinued after December 1, 1920 [1]. He was also a charter member of the Philadelphia Council of Museums, created in 1939 [2].
