Name: Small and Medium-Sized Libraries Section
Historical Note: The Small and Medium-Sized Libraries Section encourages the improvement of public library service in small and medium-sized public libraries by considering solutions to problems unique to libraries of this type, such as acquisition and allocation of resources, quality of service to community groups, management of the library program, and providing a forum for discussion of these and other problems distinctive to small and medium-sized public libraries (1).
