Caption reads: "The Siskiyou County Librarian watching her driver delving into the mysteries of a Ford that refuses to go. She travels hundreds of miles by auto over mountain grades visiting the county free library branches. Some of the branches are so remote she has to leave the machine and ride on horseback over the trails."
