Fund Raising and Financial Development Section | The American Library Association Archives
The Fund Raising and Financial Development Section (FRFDS) is responsible for areas of fund raising and resource development for libraries, including; foundation, trust, endowment development and administration, annual giving and direct-mail fund-raising, capital campaign planning and implementation, and grantsmanship (1). Fund Raising and Financial Development became a section circa 1983. Previously it had the status of Fund Raising Discussion Group (2).
The Fund Raising and Financial Development Section provides a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas, a source for research and development guides, aids, and publications relating to financial resource development (3).
