There were 44 newsletters from 1965 through 1969 documenting the early years of library automation. None of the material has been published. I hold the newsletters in three spring backed hardcover binders (approximately 4.5 inches of paper). There are 7 manila file folders (approximately 3.5 inches of paper). These are the byproduct of maintaining a small, informal communication system, including member names and addresses, administrative matters, and our progress in finding a professional organization that would provide a home for this new field. There are minutes of some of the semi-annual COLA gatherings and some returned responses to our internal surveys.
