Subjects include African-American, women's, gay, and alternative library materials; African libraries; Jewish and African-American librarians; public libraries; censorship; labor conditions; Libraries' responsibility with the poor; an appeal against a disciplinary process he faced at the Hennepin County Library; as well as copies of The Unabashed Librarian magazine (Numbers 116-120, 2000), a digitized copy of Berman's book Prejudices and Antipathies (1993), and Sanford Berman's website .HTM files.
