Women in Science Lecture Series (Born Digital Records)

Born Digital Records from the Women in Science Lecture Series (2020-2021) include recorded talks by women scientists and engineers at the university as part of the project "History in the Making: A Women in the Sciences Lecture Series and Preservation Project," funded by the University of Illinois Library Innovation Fund. This monthly lecture series was hosted by the University Archives from September 2020 to May 2021. Speakers included Kathryn B. H. Clancy, Carla Desi-Ann Hunter, Susan Martinis, Zeynep Madak-Erdogan, Brenda Molano-Flores, Catherine J. Murphy, Ruby Mendenhall, and Rebecca Lee Smith. The lectures are stored in MP4 format and include text files of closed captioning and chat transcripts, and nearline M4A format copies of the lecture audio.
