Sims (b. 1916 , Professor of Agricultural Economics) contains correspondence, pamphlets, brochures, news clippings, photographs, lecture transcripts, training material, awards, curriculum vita, and audio tapes concerning Sim's biography and "Growing Older in Rural America: A Pre-Retirement Planning Program," (ca. 1980-1986) a program developed and organized by Sims through the Cooperative Extension Service, including American Association for Retired Persons publications (1969-1978), 50 Plus Guides, Retirement Planning Workshop manual (1971), Smart Workshop manual and audiotapes, and government literature on retirement facilities and retirement planning for farmers..
