Description: Papers of Paul R. Hickock (1877-1945), containing correspondence with ATO officers and chapters, parishioners, friends, and family. Hickock was initiated into Ohio Beta Mu (University of Wooster) in 1894. He was ordained a Presbyterian minister in 1900. In ATO he held the offices of Worthy Grand Chaplain (1900-1902, 1904-1906, 1920-1945); Chief of Province VII (1902-1909); and Worthy Grand Chief (1908-1910). He was on the High Council from 1910-1914 and its chairman from 1914-1920. From 1912 until his death he gave the ATO toast at Congress and preached the Congress Sermon.
