Description: Students' Laboratory Guides work in zoology include descriptions of laboratory exercises on the morphology of clams, crawfish, grasshoppers, worms, perch and frogs and synopses of species, orders and genres of North American Crustaceans. This series includes a "blueprint" draft of the guidebook, a bound copy as displayed at the 1893 World's Columbia Exposition in Chicago, and a bound copy with additions made by Zoology Professor Frank Smith. This series also includes 1942 notes from Van Cleave describing the provenance and background of these notebooks.
