Paul Bateman (1910-1997), Assistant Professor of Agricultural Engineering (1936-1968), contain correpondence, reports, publications, and farm machinery operation manuals regarding Bateman's research and field performance tests on farm machinery for manufacturers including Allis Chalmers, John Deere, International Harvester, and White; research for seed companies Pioneer and Funk Seeds; and his research presented at professional conferences and published concerning tillage and crop production. Also included is correpondence concerning Bateman's sponsorship of the Jonathon Baldwin Turner Award (1981-94).
