Description: "Some Contributions from the Laboratory of Physics of the University of Illinois," a bound collection of articles published by members of the Department of Physics staff. The 1912-14 volume contains a note on the history of the Department of Physics; photographs of buildings, laboratories and library; floor plans of the Laboratory of Physics dedicated in 1909; list of publications, the first of which is a reprint of an article by Prof. Albert P. Carman on the problem of designing the Laboratory of Physics. Part I of the 1914-19 volume includes a 31-page article on the "Acoustics in Auditoriums" based upon a study of the University of Illinois Auditorium by Floyd R. Watson; photographs and drawings of the Auditorium.
