Description: Consists of a sheet music series that was published by Hawkes and Sons for performance as accompaniment for silent movie films.ÃÂ The music was composed and arranged by Herman Finck, Frederic Noyes, Herbert E. Haines, Gaston Borch, Reginald Somerville, John Ansell, Aubrey Winter, Edouard Patou, Percy E. Fletcher, Richard Howgill, F. G. Charrosin, and Raymond S. C. Bennett between 1922 and 1928. Each individual selection includes a piano-conductor score and set of orchestral parts.ÃÂ Of the 120 titles that published for this series, only number 107 is missing. In addition several of the later selections between 109 and 120 are also missing individual parts.ÃÂ Descriptions for each music title include the series number, the title of the piece and the larger work, if any, from which the piece was taken, the mood of the piece, and when available the name of the composer; arranger, orchestrator, editor, and copright date.
