Paul Bresee Papers, 1900 - 1923

Description: Papers of Paul Kirk Bresse AGR1923 include his student scrapbook (1918-23) and photographic postcards of campus and student events (1900). Scrapbook contains invitations, directories, programs, correspondence, photographs, membership cards, receipts, dance programs, buttons, newsletters, and newspaper clippings concerning Alpha Gamma Rho, the Agriculture Club, Urbana Golf & Country Club, dances, banquets, concerts, student government elections, commencement (1923), and other campus activities and events. Postcards depict UI sporting events, portraits of students, and buildings on campus. Bresee served as President of the UI Alumni Association in 1968 and was the public address announcer at UI sporting events from 1935-1975.
