VHS tapes of the 1993 & 1994 ASCE National Concrete Canoe Competition and "A History of Concrete Canoe Racing at the University of Illinois" by Raymond J. Ackerman are also included.

Biographical Note for Concrete Canoe Team Records (1970-) : The Concrete Canoe Team began in 1970 as a class project in 1970 for a Concrete Design course taught by Clyde E. Kesler. In 1987, a committee of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) began organizing national annual concrete canoe races.
